AI as a Tool in Artistic Production
Artificial Intelligence can be a very useful tool in the creative process in general and in Art in particular. Contrary to what some might think, this can be a time-consuming process where the creator needs patience and often has to destroy the work already done and start from scratch.
The use of LoRAs (specialised models that help define visual patterns) can be particularly helpful here, as it allows creating references that can be used, for example, to define a style.
One advantage of AI is that it allows the creator to switch more easily between styles, themes and motifs, which is more difficult in traditional painting.
The physical print medium and the way the work is created (using, for example, “strokes”) ensure the final result is practically indistinguishable from work done using traditional processes.
Finally, this is a new stage in artistic production that makes it more versatile and accessible.
